My Background
Before moving into advisory, I spent over ten years working within non-bank lending environments. That experience shapes how I approach every transaction. I understand how lenders view risk, and how credit decisions are made. Prior to finance, I was a book keeper - so I have a strong financial and business background.
And in the middle of all this I am a Mum. I have 2 adult kids, and 2 still at home. Life is never boring!
My Skill
I am your finance co-ordinator. Banks, accountants, lawyers, planners, councils can all speak different languages. They all have different agendas, different priorities and risk perspectives. This can have a massive impact on your plans. Timing is everything and delays are destructive. I can put all of the peices of the puzzle together to make sure we are moving as a cohesive unit. My goal is to make your life easier. To take the stress away so you can focus on what you excell at.
How I work
It starts with a conversation. I understand your project and then come back to you with a game plan.
If we’re both happy to proceed, we’ll gather the details and make sure we have all key milestones mapped out.
We’ll work closely together and I’ll be communicating with you every step of the way, right through to settlement and beyond.
My fees are often covered by the lender - I will be transparent with where my fee sits as we pull together the details of the lend.
I keep my client base small on purpose. You won’t be dealing with staff or assistants, you’ll be working with me right the way through.
Why the right broker matters
Not all finance brokers do the same work.
And honestly, if a broker tells you they are a one stop shop, I’d run.
In complex scenarios the difference between a successful outcome and a costly one often comes down to who you are working with.
